Come Run with Sasquatch as our Benefits Specialist to design, analyze, administer, communicate, maintain, and process our comprehensive company benefit programs to include the following: medical/dental insurance, HSA, wellness, 401(k), life, flexible spending, COBRA and LTD/STD.   

Specifically as our Benefits Specialist, you will:

  • Serve as the primary contact for external benefit vendors, including brokers and third-party administrators and work closely with them to monitor plan participation and proactively recommend changes to maintain compliance or competitive market edge.
  • Work with counsel, to ensure company practices are compliant under various laws, including ERISA; and that employee confidentiality is protected under laws including HIPAA.
  • Plan and execute annual benefit compliance requirements such as testing our 401(k)
  • Provide analysis and executive summaries of plan performance, based on market data, and to recommend changes to benefits and/or rates to ensure the maintenance of the company’s objectives and competitive position in the marketplace.
  • Organize, plan and execute the annual open enrollment across our US locations.

 

Job Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following education, experiences and skills  

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or related field strongly preferred
  • PHR/SPHR Certification is highly preferred.
  • Minimum five years Human Resources benefits experience including market analysis and operating various benefit plans, especially 401k and medical insurance experience.
  • Working knowledge of ERISA laws, ACA, HSA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, and Section 125 Plans
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to self-direct, be proactive and innovate
