We are seeking a human resources director to lead the operations and supply chain HR teams, working closely with production and distribution center site leaders and their respective teams to ensure site and company-wide objectives are achieved through the implementation of human resource strategies and tactics.

Specifically, you will: 

  • Partner with production and distribution center site leaders and JL HR competency leaders (talent acquisition, talent management, total rewards, internal communications, legal counsel, diversity etc.) in establishing and implementing key Jack Link’s HR strategies including talent acquisition and development, performance management, compensation planning  and organization design, succession planning within the operations and supply chain organizations
  • Identify, develop and implement consistent guidelines/policies that reinforce organization values across entire Jack Link’s organization
  • Coach managers and team members in the areas of leadership management skills
  • Develop and upgrade HR team capabilities, through ongoing coaching and development opportunities
  • Establish operating mechanisms and metrics which will measure organization effectiveness
  • Lead and partner with other senior HR leadership group in developing and implementing corporate wide human resources initiatives
  • Drive organizational effectiveness and change initiatives focused on preparing organizations for future growth expansion
  • Lead and participate in company-wide projects as required (HR Metrics, affirmative action plans. Company team member guidelines/handbook)
  • Lead investigations and complaints ensuring investigations are conducted and recommendations are developed in an objective and thorough manner
  • Remain current on employment related legal updates and ensure organizational compliance with federal, state and local laws

 

Job Requirements

Desired Qualifications

  • Business/HR advanced degree
  • 10+ years human resources experience, with multi-site manufacturing environment
  • Experience designing and developing HR organizations
  • Proven experience upgrading HR team capabilities
  • 25% Travel required to production sites and distribution centers
  • Must be able to effectively and efficiently lead and manage remotely as well as physically
