Join our team as an IT Infrastructure Intern during the summer and Feed Your Wild Side! Your internship will be based in Minneapolis, MN.

You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through formal and informal training.  Projects include building and supporting servers, networks, and security platforms; troubleshooting problems; attending events; networking with fellow interns; as well as working with key Jack Link’s leaders and team members. At the completion of your internship, you will conduct a final presentation on your internship experience.


IT Infrastructure Interns will:

  • Get an overview of our Data Center and remote site design in addition to operations
  • Gain an understanding of server platforms like VMware
  • Gain an understanding of network infrastructure both LAN and WAN
  • Gain experience in securing large production environments
  • Develop the skills required to analyze, operate and build production environments

IT Infrastructure Business responsibilities:

  • Attend meetings between business teams, IT Infrastructure, and help desk teams
  • Identify and define business questions and associated infrastructure needs
  • Partner with business teams to create actionable infrastructure deliverables and insights leveraging an iterative approach
  • Present IT Infrastructure deliverables to business partners for review and feedback

Job Requirements


  • Working toward a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology with Business Administration, Marketing, or Finance concentration
  • Graduating in 2020
  • Ability to work autonomously and prioritize and meet deadlines within specified time constraints
  • Team player with a “can do” attitude
  • Ability to adapt to a changing work environment
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Quick learner
  • Ability to work with an iterative and incremental IT environment
