Summary
There are many general labor jobs in the processing area that fall under this category. These jobs require a great amount of physical labor and stamina. Carries out responsibilities in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

Safety:

  • Perform all duties within OSHA and company safety standards; LOTO, wear PPE and maintain safety equipment.
  • Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area.
  • Immediately report all accidents and deficiencies to the lead/foreman/supervisor.
  • Ensure safety devices are installed and working properly.

Processing:

  •  Follow daily production schedule and achieve specified goals.
  •  Ensure product conforms to specifications.
  •  Follow good manufacturing practices and HACCP training, along with company SOP’s, and SSOP’s.
  •  Ensure products are correctly labeled and identified for proper disposition.
  •  Prevent and minimize rework and/or inedible.
  •  Tasks will vary as situations and demands change; the lead/foreman/supervisor will assign tasks as necessary

General:

  •  Must demonstrate the Jack Link’s Values: Be Real - Relationship Driven – Stewardship - Speed Matters - Self Discipline - Show Awesome Character.
  •  Adhere to all company personnel policies.
  •  Suggest improvements; continuously improve the quality of all support activities.
  •  Adhere to all company personnel policies.
  •  Return from breaks in a timely manner; notify lead/foreman/supervisor before leaving the department.
  •  Must be able to pass a drug screen.
  •  Regular attendance is essential.
  •  Other duties as assigned.

Work Environment
Work is performed primarily in a production environment where the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts, exposed to moderate cold (35-55 degrees), and the noise level is usually loud. Flooring can be very slippery at times.

Schedules:

Looking for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th shift line workers.

1st shift: Monday-Thursday 6am-430pm

2nd shift: Monday-Thursday 430pm-3am

3rd shift: Friday-Sunday 6am-630pm

4th shift: Friday-Sunday 6pm-6am
