Summary

Job Requirements

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

Safety:

 Perform all duties within OSHA and company safety standards; LOTO, wear PPE and maintain safety equipment.

 Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area.

 Immediately report all accidents and deficiencies to the lead/foreman/supervisor.

 Ensure safety devices are installed and working properly.

Processing:

 Follow daily production schedule and achieve specified goals.

 Ensure product conforms to specifications.

 Follow good manufacturing practices and HACCP training, along with company SOP’s, and SSOP’s.

 Ensure products are correctly labeled and identified for proper disposition.

 Prevent and minimize rework and/or inedible.

 Tasks will vary as situations and demands change; the lead/foreman/supervisor will assign tasks as necessary.

General:

 Adhere to all company personnel policies.

 Suggest improvements; continuously improve the quality of all support activities.

 Adhere to all company personnel policies.

 Return from breaks in a timely manner; notify lead/foreman/supervisor before leaving the department.

 Must be able to pass a drug screen.

 Regular attendance is essential.

 Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

No prior experience or training.

Current shift openings:

Monday - Thursday (2 openings)

Friday - Sunday (1 opening)

Language Skills/ Mathematical Skills/ Reasoning Ability

Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers. Ability to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions and deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
