Job Purpose:

The purpose of the National Account Manager is to grow and develop total Jack Link's sales within vending industry top accounts. The responsibilities include but are not limited to: achieving sales volume and financial objectives, developing & maintaining strong effective customer relationships; being aligned with Jack Link’s corporate goals and executing the brand initiatives.  Emphasis on planning, forecasting, trade fund management while leveraging category management practices to meet the key objectives.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Achieve top & bottom line sales & profit goals with a significant focus on generating profitable growth
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan for top customers
  • Manage Trade budgets and SPT compliance for the territory sales office
  • Manage customer deductions & AR issues on all applicable accounts
  • Coordinate and communicate the development of all sales presentations
  • Work closely with National Sales Manager on managing sales broker reps align with NAM territory.

Coordinate all forecasting and planning with the operations team, including working hand and hand with replenishment team

  • Formulate specific action plans to address problems and maximize opportunities

Job Requirements

  • 5-10 years direct selling experience building success with large national accounts in the vending industry
  • Proven track record in developing innovative, comprehensive business plans
  • Broker management experience
  • Ability to interface with multiple levels of an organization and customer
  • Strong analytical skills (specifically able to identify trends, opportunities, and business insight)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills needed for working in a team environment
  • Strong Excel and Powerpoint skills
  • Exposure to decision support data/tools (IRI, Nielsen, Spectra, HH Panel)
  • Located close to a major airport. Ideally in Central region of United States.
  • Goal oriented & well organized
  • Undergraduate Degree; Masters degree a plus
