The National Sales Manager- Lorissa’s Kitchen is responsible for building new business while achieving volume and profit objectives. This National Sales Manager will leverage this position to penetrate the customer organization, build business with top customers and anticipate changes in the business environment. The goal of this role is to further establish Lorissa’s Kitchen as a Protein leader.

Specifically, you will: 

  • Implement key customer strategies to attain volume growth targets and achieve company goals
  • Lead, cultivate and leverage customer relationships and quickly establish a strong rapport with key members of each management team
  • Function as a “hands-on” leader interacting in the marketplace with customers to provide exceptional support and direction
  • Further develop existing customer relationships and cultivate new customer relationships through fact-based industry and category insights
  • Build and maintain strong top-to-top relationships with key customer executives
  • Utilize syndicated data to develop and implement best-in-class approaches for all Lorissa’s Kitchen products
  • Monitor attainment of goals and adjust strategies to ensure all objectives are exceeded
  • Identify, quantify and develop growth opportunities at key accounts and communicate findings to the management team
  • Establish relationships with top customers and manage building the Lorissa’s Kitchen brand
  • Create a “Start-up” selling environment while cross-selling with top Jack Link’s customers
  • Improve processes, procedures and efficiencies related to customer business, supply chain and service in conjunction with other business units
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure plan delivery against established volume goals and spending parameters
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as necessary

Job Requirements


  • Bachelor’s in business administration, Marketing or related field
  • 3-5 years of direct selling, managing, planning & marketing experience within the Natural industry
  • Ability to determine current and future Natural trends, having an emphasis on planning, forecasting, and building the Natural Channel for Lorissa’s Kitchen.
  • Exceptional sales skills including negotiation, account management, account penetration, strategic selling, category management and leading edge sales strategies
  • Experience in a “Start-Up” brand or company environment
  • Experience in trade fund management, P&L management, developing new accounts and leverage of category management
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills in the development of both short & long-term Natural business strategies
  • Strong analytical skills (specifically able to identify trends, opportunities & business insights within the Natural Channel industry)
  • Proactive (high sense of urgency) & committed to delivering results in a fast paced, demanding work environment
  • Results-oriented, self-starter with strong organizational skills and an ability to work on independent initiatives
  • Category management experience, fact-based planning & selling
  • Able to produce/present information formatted in a compelling & persuasive manner
  • Competent at manipulating, interpreting & presenting category trends/sales data (interface with Channel Category Manager)
  • Strong computer, technical & Internet platform skills
  • Strong communication and listening skills with the ability to adjust style to effectively interact with external customers and internal staff
