Come run with Sasquatch as a Retail Store Shift Lead at Jack Link's Wild Side, our company store located in the Target Center in downtown Minneapolis! This part-time role offers flexible scheduling, a great location and working with our fun product!

As our Retail Store Shift Leader, you will help ensure that the Jack Link’s Retail Store vision, values and procedures are upheld consistently and in a positive way while helping to drive sales and business results. This position supports the Associate Retail Store Manager and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the retail store as well as the leadership of the store team in manager's absence. Additionally, you are expected to be a leader of the store and will regularly partake in Store Team Member training and development.

Specifically, you will: 

  • Perform all roles and duties of a Retail Store Team Member
  • Coach, support and recognize team members and provide performance feedback to the Associate Retail Store Manager.
  • Provide new Team Member training as well as ongoing training and development.
  • Solve customer, team member and store issues in a timely fashion.
  • Assist the Associate Retail Store Manager to lead the store to achieve its business goals.
  • Lead the day-to-day operation of the store including the delivery of customer service, stocking and displaying merchandise, maintaining overall appearance of the store, ringing sales and cash handling.
  • Lead store with a "customer-first" mentality.
  • Responsible for all store funds while on shift by enforcing all cash handling policies
  • Assist the Associate Retail Store Manager with banking and accounting duties.
  • Manage inventory including receiving of merchandise, placing store orders and cycle counts. 

Job Requirements

To be succedssful in this role, you should posess the following education, skills and experiences: 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to Take Ownership.
  • One to three years of prior retail/restaurant experience required in a customer service environment.
  • Minimum of one year of supervisory experience or training in a work, volunteer or team-type environment.
  • Flexible Work Schedule including mornings, days, nights, weekends and some holidays.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Exemplary Customer Service and Sales results.
  • Ability to create a positive and productive working environment.
  • Manage and motivate a team to be focused on customer service and operational excellence.
  • Ability to train and develop Team Members.
  • Basic cash handling, inventory and expense management skills.
