Join our team as a Sales Intern during the summer and Feed Your Wild Side! Your internship will be based in Minneapolis, MN. You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through formal and informal training, managing projects, attending events, networking with fellow interns, working with key Jack Link’s leaders and team members. At the completion of your internship, you will conduct a final presentation on your internship experience.

As a Sales Intern within Jack Link’s, you will work closely with the sales team, gaining formal and information training, with rotations in the following areas: 

Sales responsibilities:

  • Shadow District Manager
  • Attend end user calls for Convenience Retail
  • Attend store calls for Grocery
  • Develop promotional offers
  • Conduct sampling events
  • Enter promotional plans in Sales Planning Tool

Analyst responsibilities:

  • Shadow Sales Support Analyst (SSA)
  • Shadow Business Analyst (BA)
  • Own handful of accounts to manage SSA duties
  • Own channel for reporting BA duties
  • Develop selling story for product/segment/channel/customer
  • Make sales presentation to leadership team (role play)
  • Make customer call with sales representative
  • Final presentation to leadership team to recap experience

Job Requirements

  • Academic focus in Business Administration, Marketing, or Finance
  • Ability to work autonomously, prioritize and meet deadlines within specified time constraints
  • Team player with a “can do” attitude
  • Ability to adapt in a changing work environment
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Quick learner
