Jack Link’s is searching for a Sr. Sales Analyst that will work cross-functionally, under the supervision of the Sales Insights Manager in supporting the Walmart & Sam’s Club accounts to leverage syndicated and POS data in order to optimize pricing, promotion, shelving, and assortment with the goal of maximizing profit and shopper satisfaction. This role is heavy on analytics with a thirst for sales. Specifically, this person will:

  • Work collaboratively with a cross-functional team in the preparation and delivery of the annual JBP, Quarterly Sessions, and line reviews.
  • Create fact-based selling stories to drive insights into action and utilize presentation skills to articulate the data.
  • Proactively recommend product assortment, product placement, and promotions, which meet customer objectives and Jack Link’s sales goals.
  • Own and maintain standard reporting, while proactively highlighting business opportunities.
  • Supports sales in the planning process around identifying strategic opportunities, analyzing and aligning with the team’s business plans, in conjunction with meeting customer needs.
  • Contribute to the sales forecasting process, as well as manage trade promotion plans and ROI.

Job Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following education, skills and experiences: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field   
  • 5 years of sales and data analysis or category management experience with Walmart or Sam’s Club
  • Proficient in Retail Link
  • Proficiency in working with Nielsen AOD and Spectra
  • Proficiency in using MS Office products such as PowerPoint, and Microsoft Excel (e.g. pivot table creation, vlookup, filters).
  • Atlas experience preferred
  • Proven ability to use data and analytics to develop insights and assist in selling presentations
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail; results-oriented and must be able to manage and prioritize multiple projects effectively
  • Understands tools and techniques to merchandise and market at retail
  • Ability to adapt in a changing work environment
  • Willingness to travel when required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must work effectively with all levels of management and employees
  • Demonstrated effective leadership, problem solving, presentation, and employee motivational skills.
