The incumbent performs the tasks of shipping and receiving materials and supplies. Carries out responsibilities in accordance with company policies and procedures.




 Perform all duties within OSHA and company safety standards; LOTO, wear PPE and maintain safety equipment.

 Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area.

 Immediately report all accidents and deficiencies to the lead/foreman/supervisor.

 Ensure safety devices are installed and working properly.


 Must be able to safely operate a Forklift and/or Pallet Jack.

 Unload trucks and validate deliveries against appropriate documentation, and notify supervisor of discrepancies.

 Unload meat trucks weighing each pallet and documenting weights per assigned number on each pallet and follow appropriate procedures.

 Distribute the items received to the person or department for which the item was ordered.

 Daily shipments must be picked, counts verified, pallets wrapped or stacked neatly for pick-ups, marked accordingly to customer, transportation and location of shipment.

 Load finished goods onto trailer within specified timeframe.

 Maintain an accurate inventory of finished products and supplies in the warehouse.

 Ability to prepare reports, complete work orders and other forms, and keep records.

 Adhere to all company personnel policies.

 Return from breaks in a timely manner; notify lead/foreman/supervisor before leaving the department.

 Must be able to pass a drug screen.

 Regular attendance is essential.

 Other duties as assigned.



Job Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Basic knowledge of supply chain, purchasing, materials, and/or Manufacturing preferred. Knowledge of SAP preferred. Working knowledge of computers and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.

Forklift Operating (Safety training) License is a requirement that must be accomplished before operating any forklift and must be obtained by the timeframe established by the supervisor.


Monday - Friday with possible Saturday hours

6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
